Dr. S. Rob Sobhani

Dr. Sobhani graduated from Georgetown University in 1989 with a Ph.D. in Political Economy with a focus on energy economics. He is a highly accomplished business executive with 25+ years of advisory work for the highest levels of government in the United States, and multinational energy companies. Dr. Sobhani has served as CEO of Caspian Group Holdings (CGH) since 1990, serves as an Executive Board member of Z Advanced Computing, an Artificial Intelligence company focused on 3D image recognition, and is a founder and CEO of Sparo Corporation, a global venture philanthropy platform. In 2016 CGH launched a project in Bahrain for “smart solar”. Dr. Sobhani has authored several books and penned numerous articles on a wide variety of topics ranging from foreign policy to renewable energy.
